All LA-area students in the earth, planetary, and space sciences are invited to attend a one-day research
symposium to be held Wednesday, April 30, 2008 on the UCLA campus. This event will showcase student research
and provide a unique opportunity for interaction and networking among students. In the LA Basin, we are
privileged to have many outstanding graduate and undergraduate programs in geology, geophysics, planetary science,
space physics, and related disciplines. The goal of the LA-Basin EPSRS is to foster connections between students
